The studio/garage addition to
Z HOUSE, continues experiments with black EPDM rubber as a cladding material, and projection as spatial generator, undertaken with BLACK MARIA #3. Like its neighbor, the building projects in different directions from a narrow, economical foundation to capture light for the studio and space for the garage. Its stair links to the house’s bridge for ease of access and support.
